In reality we celebrated Jay's 39th birthday on the actual eve of his special day (September 18), but I have just been a little slow in getting these pictures out to our blog. The kids each made Jay a card which they were all very proud of, and picked out a red three button short sleeve shirt they thought he'd like for work (he's been very considerate and worn it several times already despite it's bright shade!) We enjoyed the usual dairy queen ice cream cake and as usual, the kids were very happy to be celebrating someone's birthday. They of course love it even more when it's their own, but dad's was pretty fun too!
