Leah's got a what?

A beaver.  According to Hannah.  At least that is what she told her teachers and friends at school this week when she showed up without Leah on Tuesday and Wednesday.  "Leah's got a Beaver so she has to stay home".  We were all very entertained....and after several days of practice Hannah can now say Fever.  Jay has been out of commission the past few days and has a much worse case of the flu than Leah had.  I have done bed time with the kids the past few nights and Leah has been very into her Dora bedtime book.  The characters make wishes, and the kids have repeated their same wishes every night.  Hannah wishes for flowers (that is what one of the characters wishes for in the story), Leah wishes for nothing (probably because she is very tired at that point), and Joseph wishes for legos (he is only half listening because he is looking at star wars books but listening enough to take the opportunity to ask for legos).

Turn Your Back....

Turn your back for 15 minutes and something funny is bound to happen.....this time it was all kids playing quite nicely with markers and art projects and then Leah decided she would expand her canvas onto her face.  Funny enough, Hannah then did the same thing two days later.  The beauty of washable markers!  The girls have had lots of funny moments lately....some of the things they say are hilarious but I haven't been able to remember them long enough to write them down.  A few moments I do recall involve Leah crying out at the dinner table in a proud manner "and you never eat poop!" (words to live by) and Hannah saying with hands on hips and accomplished grin "well I told you I was right, I knew I was right about that".  (i do wonder if that was a flash back to me as a 3 yr old).

Krazy for Kidnastics

Hannah and Leah started Kidnastics last night (gymnastics for 3 year olds) and let's just say they were excited.  I'm not sure why Hannah thought she needed sunglasses, but they twirled and sported their moves as they got ready to go with Jay to their first class.  Joseph asked if he could go watch them (I think he wanted to be in the class too), but we'll have to wait for the open house.  It's closed doors until then!  If they offered a Fairy class we would sign the girls up for that too, but unfortunately they don't.
